Best Mexican Food place. Went in on A Monday Afternoon to a very friendly atmosphere and Service! My food was delicious and was made quite fast! The chips and Salsa delicious.
Great clean place to stop at if you are on the 99 passing thru Chowchilla. I drop in for a couple tacos, a rest from driving. Stayed about an hour working on my computer. The ambiance was perfect. It sure bet stopping at Starbucks and being subject to load music and freezing air This will be one of my go-to stops for travel food going forward.
Another locally owned business, with delicious food...I recommend the chile rellenos or their soup. It's a small restaurant but the food is made to your liking....

Do yourself a favor, get off the 99 freeway and stop here! We found the place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. The fish tacos, carne asada and breakfast burritos were great! I like tortas, but they are hit and miss. This place had ONE OF THE BEST TORTAS I have ever had in my life! And I have had a lot of tortas. This place is a hit!
Very good!! I have been eating here (when I'm town) for at least 5 years. I usually get carne asada burrito or Tacos. My dad loves the shrimp plates.
This place is really good for Mexican snacks like tacos and burritos. I come here very often with my colleagues for lunch and we finish pretty satisfied. The place is small, like 6 tables. The service is always friendly and fast. The food is fresh and you can see how they are preparing it in the kitchen. My only complain is the amount of free chips per table... it doesn't matter if is one person or 5, you receive the same basket, and if you ask for more they want to charge you $2.00. The salsa for the chips is very good. In the back is a small bakery and butchery, but I cannot say anything about that side of the business because I did not try it. Conchitas is the only place that can compete with El Grullense (10 blocks away) for best burritos in Chowchilla.
